1. Sidewall edge support being attached to offset
double tempered, heavy gauge coil unit.
2. Applying full mattress insulation wrap to offset coil unit.

STEP I I
(Upholstering the mattress body.)
3. High density materials are added at the base of the
sleep surface for edge and “body” support.
4. Layers and layers of natural prime upholstery cotton
are added. NOTE: Over 30 lbs of natural cotton are used in the
“hand crafted” mattress.
5. Finishing touches are made to interior materials.

STEP I I I
(The hand-stitching of the mattress body)
6. Mattress is squared and “pinned” to insure tailoring.
Then stitched.
7. The upholstered body is roll-edged to tighten sidewalls
and secure the mattress – increasing comfort and
decreasing sleep roll-off.
8. The mattress is hand side-stitched to secure materials.
9. Inner tufting: the final step in fully securing all
materials to provide maximum support and longevity.
10. There is additional hand workmanship in Aireloom’s
hand tied foundations.
